How to: Applying Clip In Hair Extensions (Video)

So, I've uploaded another YouTube video for you all, this time on how I put in my hair extensions! It's come out a little over exposed which has annoyed me, you just can't rely on technology to be consistent I swear -_-

Anyway, I hope some of you will find this useful and if you have any questions about hair extensions then don't hesitate to ask! Oh, and don't forget to watch in 720P HD! ;)

  1. So pleased you just posted this! I've just bought a set of extensions and tbh I don't have a clue how to put them in!
They are human hair apparently, do you know if this means they will be okay to dye and curl with my ghd's I haven't a clue :P haha xox

    1. Yes, you can do whatever you'd do to your normal hair with human hair extensions! Just remember to put apply heat defense and give them a good conditioning when you wash them and they'll be fine! :)

  2. Fab video hun :) Very helpful! You look great. Where are you from originally by the way? Your skin tone and hair colour is lovely!

A few questions about the extensions:
    Do you sleep in them?
I found them painful after wearing them for a few hours yesterday, do you just get used to them pulling on your natural hair or am I doing something wrong? lol
When you wash them, do you keep them attached to your head or remove them? haha these questions are probably silly :)

    Thanks xx

    1. Thank you! I'm part Lebanese :)
Well, I wouldn't recommend sleeping in your extensions if you want to keep them in a good condition, they'll knot and matt a lot over night which mean you'll have a lot of combing to do come the morning!
I think because you're new to extensions it may take your head a while to get use to the extra weight. I've been wearing hair extensions since I was 17 so I'm pretty use to it and can't really feel a difference anymore when I wear them. But I do sometimes get a headache if I've had them in all day!
I would wash them separate from your natural hair. They don't need washing often, especially if avoid putting products like hair spray on them. Just wash them under cold water with your usual shampoo and conditioner every once a month or so!

Hope I answered all your questions clearly! Thanks! x
